Thoughts of the Day…
Why I love my job…so we’ve been making Valentine cards for the upcoming holiday and I’m looking through one of the kids’ cards and it says sweet things like “You’re a good friend, I like the way you draw”, etc. Then I get to one that says “You’re a good kisser.” LOL. I had to make him redo it but it secretly gave me a giggle. Oh man, I love my munchkins. I’m making my valentines tonight and can’t wait to give them to the kids…
I love Valentine’s Day because it’s a day that celebrates love..even though every day should be that way :)
As such, I have a few people in mind that I wanted to mention.
My parents - You’ll always be my valentines. Thank you for giving birth to me, for loving me, for a lifetime of hugs and always leaving me the last bite ;) I love you both from the bottom of my heart.
Ellie - Thank you for being the sister I never had. You bring out the best in me. I admire your free spirit, your creativity, your compassion and your ability to connect with anyone you meet. You are truly one of a kind and I love you so much.
Mariss - Thank you for being the best friend anyone could ever ask for. With you, I always feel safe, special and so loved. I love your kindness, I love your strong mind, I love the way you care about others…I love you.
GF (aka April) - I’m so glad we live together. You make me laugh all the time, your energy inspires me to live my life to the fullest and I am a better person for having known you. I love you!
Wifey (aka Jenn) - You’re funny. You have great style. You are incredibly loyal. You have such a good heart. I’m grateful to have your friendship and I hope it continues to grow when you move out. I love you.
Last but not least, Ali - Thank you for being you. No, seriously. You make my world brighter, more joyful and you showed me that it’s okay to open my heart completely because I know my heart is safe with you. Thank you for all the things you do, small and big. Thank you for loving me the way you do. I love you. P.S. You still give me butterflies. =)
