ROFL…Earth Day…and Summer time…
So…one of the students in my class brought a pigeon egg that fell from the roof at her house to share today. After she was done, one of the other students asked her why there was no baby in the egg. This was her response:
“Um…well…it’s really gross and disgusting but the daddy bird’s sperm didn’t get to the egg so there was no baby.”
Next question: “What the heck is sperm?”
Response: “It’s real disgusting. Like soooooo disgusting but I think it’s best you talk to your mommy or daddy about it. They know more about it.”
Omg…I almost died of laughter.
On another note, our school is celebrating Earth Day on Wednesday and I’m excited to see all the kids get so excited about it. Go green! One of the students at my school was featured in the LA Times because his family practices a “No Electricity Night” every single week. Check out the article, it just may inspire you to do the same. <3

P.S. Loving this hot weather. Feels like summer. Ali and I scootered to Manhattan Beach yesterday and it was simply blissful. Can’t wait until it’s summer…summer dresses, long hair, warm nights and positive vibes all around…
